Our studio in the "Makaha Shores" is located on the Waianae Coast of Oahu, Hawaii. About an hour away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, it is a great place to "get away". Relax to the soothing sound of the surf on the lanai of this fifth floor studio and watch a beautiful sunset. To see where Makaha is, look at this map of Oahu.

• Makaha beach is great for swimming, snorkeling, diving, surfing and sunbathing! It is rarely crowded, unless you are there during the various surf competitions that are held there.



• Makaha has become a popular snorkeling and diving spot for the Sea Turtles living just beyond the reef.



• If you prefer calmer waters, enjoy the private pool located on the "Makaha Shores" grounds



• Watch for whales in the winter. Schools of dolphin occasionally "entertain" the swimmers and boaters, you can watch it all from the lanai! A Monk Seal once rested for the day right in front of the building.



• Hike or Golf in Makaha Valley, and see some of the wild peacock that live there or visit an ancient Hawaiian Heiau.
